Manage Files and Use SFTP

Use the browser file manager

  1. Stop the server before replacing files it is actively using.
  2. Open Files and browse to the correct folder.
  3. Select Upload or drag files into the page.
  4. After uploading an archive, open its menu and choose Unarchive.
  5. Confirm the required files are not inside an accidental extra folder.
  6. Start the server and check Console for file or permission errors.

Select a text file to edit it in the browser. Use the item menu to rename, move, copy, archive, unarchive, or delete files.

A ZIP file cannot run while compressed. Extract it and confirm the expected files exist before changing the startup setting.

Use SFTP for larger transfers

  1. Open Settings and copy the SFTP host, port, and username.
  2. Enter them in an SFTP client such as WinSCP, Cyberduck, or FileZilla.
  3. Choose SFTP, not FTP.
  4. Use your Haven server-panel password when prompted.

Create a backup before replacing a world, database file, or complete server directory. Never share passwords, API tokens, or SFTP credentials in a public message or screenshot.
