Family Tree Troubleshooting

  • If relationships do not save, check database connectivity and plugin load logs.
  • If users can create too many links, lower the configured limits.
  • If confirmation controls expire too quickly, adjust timeout settings if available.
  • If output text is awkward, edit family-tree-lang.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
