AntiGhost-Ping Troubleshooting

  • If ghost pings are not detected, confirm Message Content intent and delete event access.
  • If alerts are too noisy, add channels or roles to ignored lists.
  • If alerts expose too much information, switch to staff-log-only behavior if configured.
  • If mention formatting is wrong, edit antighost-lang.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
