Event System Setup

Before You Start

  • Source-backed docs were generated from the local plugin source and JSON5 templates.
  • Plugin entry: main.js
  • Config templates: en-event-lang.json5, en-event.json5

Setup Steps

  1. Install and enable event.
  2. Set the event announcement or management channels in the config if present.
  3. Grant event staff the configured command permission.
  4. Create a test event with a short duration.
  5. Confirm announcement messages and controls appear in the expected channel.

First Test

Use a private staff test channel or a staging Discord server first. Confirm the plugin loads without config errors, run the safest command or trigger, and then check the configured output channel, role change, or stored state.
