Quote of the day Troubleshooting

  • If no quote posts, check channel ID and schedule settings.
  • If images fail, confirm image/canvas dependencies are installed.
  • If the same quote repeats too often, review quote selection settings.
  • If quote text has bad formatting, clean the configured quote file.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
