Reputation System Troubleshooting

  • If reputation does not persist, check database connectivity.
  • If members can abuse reputation, tighten cooldowns and target restrictions.
  • If leaderboards are wrong, refresh or restart after confirming data records.
  • If command text is wrong, update reputation-lang.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
