Question of the day (QOTD) Troubleshooting

  • If no question posts, check channel ID and schedule settings.
  • If questions repeat too often, expand or tune the question list.
  • If the post appears in the wrong channel, update the configured channel ID.
  • If command text is wrong, update qotd-lang.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
