Snipe Setup

Before You Start

Setup Steps

  1. Install and enable snipe.
  2. Confirm the bot has Message Content intent and can see the channels staff will review.
  3. Set staff permissions for the snipe commands.
  4. Tune cache limits if the config exposes retention or max records.
  5. Delete and edit a test message, then run the staff lookup command.

First Test

Use a private staff test channel or a staging Discord server first. Confirm the plugin loads without config errors, run the safest command or trigger, and then check the configured output channel, role change, or stored state.
