Minecraft Server Lookup Setup

Before You Start

  • Source-backed docs were generated from the local plugin source and JSON5 templates.
  • Plugin entry: main.js
  • Config templates: en-mc_server_lookup.json5, en-mc_server_lookup_lang.json5

Setup Steps

  1. Enable core and minecraft_status first.
  2. Install mc_server_lookup and confirm axios is available.
  3. Set command_permission for the users or roles allowed to run lookups.
  4. Choose whether replies should be ephemeral.
  5. Tune request limits before opening the command to busy public servers.
  6. Run the slash command with a known online and offline server.

First Test

Use a private staff test channel or a staging Discord server first. Confirm the plugin loads without config errors, run the safest command or trigger, and then check the configured output channel, role change, or stored state.
