Question of the day (QOTD) Setup

Before You Start

  • Source-backed docs were generated from the local plugin source and JSON5 templates.
  • Plugin entry: main.js
  • Config templates: en-qotd.json5, en-qotd-lang.json5

Setup Steps

  1. Install and enable qotd.
  2. Set the QOTD channel and schedule.
  3. Add or edit questions in the config.
  4. Run a manual test post if the command is available.
  5. Confirm the scheduled post appears in the target channel.

First Test

Use a private staff test channel or a staging Discord server first. Confirm the plugin loads without config errors, run the safest command or trigger, and then check the configured output channel, role change, or stored state.
