Minecraft Status Troubleshooting

  • If a server always shows offline, confirm the host, port, and firewall.
  • If updates are noisy, increase the polling interval or change announce settings.
  • If embeds do not update, check stored message IDs and channel permissions.
  • If dependent lookup plugins fail, confirm minecraft_status loaded first.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
