VIP Troubleshooting

  • If VIP roles do not apply, check role hierarchy.
  • If members lack access, confirm role IDs match the server.
  • If staff commands fail, check permissions.
  • If responses are unclear, edit vip-lang.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
