Anti-Ping Troubleshooting

  • If pings are not detected, check mention parsing and protected IDs.
  • If staff are blocked, add their roles to bypass or ignored roles.
  • If logs do not post, check the log channel ID and bot permissions.
  • If false positives happen in ticket channels, add those channels to ignored_channels.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
