Server Settings and SFTP

Basic settings

Open Settings to change the panel display name and description. These labels identify the service in the panel; they do not normally change an in-game server name stored in an application config.

Connect over SFTP

  1. Install WinSCP, Cyberduck, FileZilla, or another SFTP client.
  2. Copy the SFTP address and username from Settings.
  3. Choose the SFTP protocol and enter the exact port shown.
  4. Use your Haven server-panel password.
  5. Accept a new host key only when the host matches the panel details.

Stop the server before replacing active files.

Reinstalling

Reinstall is intended for starting over with the server template. Download or create any backup you need first and read the confirmation carefully.

Reinstalling can destroy current data. Do not use it as a troubleshooting shortcut when you only need to repair one file or startup variable.
