Minecraft Server Lookup Troubleshooting

  • If the command is missing, resync slash commands and confirm minecraft_status is enabled.
  • If lookups fail, verify the address is reachable and the status dependency is loaded.
  • If users are rate-limited too quickly, adjust min_seconds_between_requests_per_user and max_requests_per_guild_per_minute.
  • If player lists are too long, reduce players_page_size.

General Checks

  • Confirm the plugin folder name and generated config names match the table on the overview page.
  • Check AthenaBot startup logs for config load failures.
  • Verify the bot role is above any role it needs to manage.
  • Confirm channel IDs, role IDs, and user IDs are from the same Discord server.
  • If dashboard config is enabled, confirm the dashboard value is not overriding the local JSON5 file.
